On August 9 & 10 and 15-17, Cottage Park Yacht Club will be hosting the Women’s National Snipe Championships and the Snipe North American Championships, respectively.  Competitors from Florida to California, Mexico and Canada are expected. Among the competitors will be Olympic, World, North American, Pan American and National Championship Sailors.

While the CPYC membership is participating in hosting these two person teams, they are looking for additional lodging, especially within walking distance of the club. This is a great way to meet people and make life long memories. If interested please contact Sue Hardy at  www.windjammer@cpyc.org.

Racing will take place in the President’s Roads area of Winthrop Harbor. A good place to watch the competition will be from the Grandview Ave area  and the west shore of Deer Island.
