snow removal

In order to accommodate ongoing snow removal operations, ALL VEHICLES must be removed from River Road, Veterans Road, and Walden Street by 7:00 AM, Thursday, February 19, 2015.  Vehicles not removed are subject to being ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.

Vehicles may return to these areas once snow removal operations have been completed.

Municipal Lots will be cleared tomorrow, Thursday February 19th starting in the early afternoon.  ALL VEHICLES must be removed from these lots.   Vehicles may return to these areas once snow removal operations have been completed.

Per order of the Town Council in a vote taken on Tuesday, February 17, 2015, the following streets shall be designated one-way for a temporary period of time until the public safety team determines that these streets can return to two-way travel:

  • Grovers Ave – From Cliff Ave to Sewall
  • Locust Street – From Veterans Road to Revere Street
  • Almont Street – From Revere Street to Veterans Road
  • Cross Street – From Shirley Street to Locust Street
  • Paine Street – From Main Street to Wilshire Street
  • Court Road – From Pleasant Street to Johnson Ave
  • Loring Road – From Court Road to Circuit Road
  • Somerset Ave – From Pleasant Street to Woodside Ave
  • Putnam Street – From Jefferson Street to Buchanan Street
  • Woodside Ave – From Pleasant Street to Dix Street
  • Bay View Ave – From Shirley Street to Grand View Ave
  • Grand View Ave – From Bay View Ave to Billows Street
  • Triton Ave – From Bay View Ave to Shirley Street
