From Jim McKenna, Winthrop Town Manager, to the Center Business Area Residents:  “We have been working diligently to renovate the Center Business District over the last two years.  In order to move forward with engineering and design, and to determine the effectiveness of the proposed traffic plan, we need to perform a pilot traffic study.  This study will close Hagman Road, reverse the direction of Adams Street, make Jefferson Street extension a one-way towards Putnam and allow a left hand turn at the end of Woodside by Cervizzi’s, to allow vehicles to go up Bartlett Road.”
