Winthrop Ferry riders and local residents are invited to attend an informational meeting about the Winthrop Ferry program and the upcoming ferry season on Tuesday, May 6 at 7 p.m. at the Ferry Terminal Building at the Winthrop Public Landing.

The purpose of the meeting is to explain the current situation with the ferry program, what the plans are going forward and to discuss possible options for providing water borne service to Boston and the Islands in the upcoming season.

The town will be looking for information from riders, related to how often they would plan to ride, where they prefer debarkation and at which times travel would be best.

We need to hear from you, in order to have the best information possible as we discuss alternative service for the upcoming season.

Anyone who wishes to participate in this session, but is not available to attend on Tuesday evening can email the Assistant to the Town Manager/ Grants Manager Joseph Domelowicz at jdomelowicz@town.winthrop.ma.us.
