The designation of Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) has been conferred upon Lin Schwarz, Commercial Lines Insurance Manager at Elliot Whittier Insurance Services, LLC.

“This designation recognizes Lin’s successful completion of three, one-day workshops at the recent Massachusetts Association of Independent Agents (MAIA) convention in Boston,” stated Elliot Whittier CEO Steve Roy, who added “we encourage and applaud staff who seek continuing education and designations in our industry.  Continuing education ensures that our staff will remain up-to-date on important changes and trends in insurance related issues that can affect our clients.  We are proud that every Elliot Whittier employee involved with insurance operations is licensed and 13 employees have a professional designation.”

The CPIA designation, a nationally recognized program, is awarded by the American Insurance Marketing and Sales Society (AIMS).

“These seminars were motivating and very practical.  There was lots of great information that I could put into use immediately,” said Schwarz.   Lin graduated from Cornell University, receiving her Bachelor of Science.  Lin resides in Byfield, MA where she enjoys her family, working out and being on the water in her spare time.
