DCR TWO WEEK LOOK-AHEAD

March 31, 2014 – April 11, 2014

 

The following are activities you can expect to see over the next two weeks for the Winthrop Beach Nourishment Project

 

Crest Avenue – Winthrop

Excavate and install lighting system

Pave parking lot extension and repave existing lot

 

Winthrop Beach

Remove and reset revetment along seawall

Deliver armor stones

Reconstruct Groin #3

 

Saugus – Rumney Marsh

Construct truck entrance at Route 107

Strip and Screen soil

 

We expect to begin trucking sand in late April.  During the week, parking along Crest Ave. will be redirected from 9am to 3pm to the newly expanded municipal parking lot.
